		<description>Regarding Reason No.1 of the listed 5 Reason to play in a charity golf event (FREE GOLF), legally you can only deduct the portion of the entrance fee which exceeds the normal cost of the round at that course. So, if you pay $100 to play in a charity event on a Monday, and that course usually charges $50 for a round of golf and $15 for the cart, you can only deduct the $35 difference. You can also deduct the cost of Mulligans and such, but not the cost of raffle tickets. Even then, it&#039;s a tax deduction, not a tax credit.</description>
