Charity Golf Tournaments and Golf Tournament Planning

Join us on September 14, 2009, for the third annual Swing for Hope Charity Golf Tournament. We are proud to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in this exciting event benefiting the hospital. The tournament will feature a buffet lunch, an afternoon round of golf followed by dinner and an auction.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

The tournament fee of $175 per player will include:

1. Greens and cart fees
2. Locker room/shower facilities
3. Buffet Lunch and Dinner
4. Tournament gift

“Home in One is unique, one-of-a-kind golf fundraiser because it provides guests with an opportunity to choose between playing 18 holes, taking a ‘getting started’ golf lesson or being pampered at the spa,” said Clemmie Cash, a Board Member of The Home and Chair of the golf tournament committee. “The event encourages women to invite their friends and co-workers for a day out of the office, or without the kids, to support a good cause. Participants will have fun while raising money to support programs and services that are even more critical for children at risk and their families in these difficult times.”

The Home for Little Wanderers is the nation’s oldest and one of New England’s largest, private, non-profit child and family service agencies, serving more than 10,000 children at risk and their families from throughout the state each year. Many who come to The Home have had devastating experiences with abuse and neglect and struggle with emotional and behavioral issues.

Now is your chance to make a difference as you enjoy this exceptional golf experience at the Home in One Women’s Tournament. Space is limited and participants are encouraged to register early.
