| The Volusia/Flagler UCF Alumni Chapter is excited to host its annual scholarship fundraiser on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Timacuan Golf & Country Club. In honor of my late husband, the golf scramble has been renamed the Lee A. Dumas Memorial Scholarship Golf Scramble. This event embodies his passion for golf and education. It was his mission to provide college scholarships for students in Volusia and Flagler counties to attend UCF Daytona Beach.
Your participation in this event as a golfer, sponsor or door prize donor will help the chapter make my husband’s dream a living legacy. The enclosed flyer is your opportunity to be a part of this worthwhile cause. If you are unable to participate in the scramble, please consider a monetary donation. Your gift will help students in our community realize their own dream of a UCF education. Donations to the Lee A. Dumas Memorial Scholarship Endowment can be mailed directly to the UCF Alumni Association. The Volusia/Flagler UCF Alumni Chapter anticipates awarding scholarships in Lee’s name this fall.
