Bring “a touch of pink on the green” this October for a worthwhile cause! Have a swing at the Beautiful Day Foundation’s Fifth Annual Golf Day, a charity golf tournament, on Sunday, October 17th, 2010 at the picturesque Los Verdes Golf Course in the charming oceanfront city of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The first tee-off for the tournament begins at 10:00 AM, with numerous contests and prizes, you’re sure to take home a few goodies. Sponsorships available!

The Beautiful Day Foundation was founded by Daylani Santos Röllich, a young woman from the South Bay, who battled breast cancer and envisioned a way to educate other young women about the challenges of the cancer and ways to live today, each day, every day as a “Beautiful Day”. This golf tournament is chosen to be held every October in honor of her and the organization that carries on her legacy. Proceeds for this “touch of pink on the green” golf tournament benefits the Beautiful Day Foundation’s ongoing education programs aimed at raising awareness of breast cancer, ways to detect and prevent this cancer among young women, in addition to the organization’s several community outreach events.
