| It’s time to tee up for Connecticut’s at-risk youth! Our Annual Golf Classic provides critical funding for Rushford’s child and adolescent prevention and treatment programs. The 23rd annual Rushford Golf Classic will be held on June 30th at Lyman Orchards Golf Club, in Middlefield, CT.
10-11 am Registration & Lunch 12 Noon Shotgun Start 5 pm Dinner & Awards Each year, more than 120,000 Connecticut children do not receive the treatment they need for behavioral health disorders. Without treatment, many children fail to fulfill their potential. Many are unable to perform in school and fail to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, while others develop more severe problems that lead to substance abuse, crime, illness and sometimes death. The good news is that you can help make a difference for thousands of Connecticut youth by supporting our annual golf classic. All proceeds from the event are used to expand and enhance the prevention and treatment programs Rushford provides in the many communities we serve. We hope you will consider participating in this event, whether to golf on the beautiful course, support our tournament through sponsorship, or contribute an item to our silent auction. Please encourage your friends, family and colleagues to support this worthwhile event. A sponsorship and registration form is attached or if you prefer, register online at If you have any questions, please contact Melissa Tashjian at 860-852-1011 or email mtashji@rushford.org. |

| If you’re a fan of baseball and golf than this is your dream tournament.
Monday May 9, 2011 Fairchild Wheeler GC in Fairfield CT (Black Course) 9:00am Shotgun Start This is a team event where each foursome represents a different MLB team. You’ll compete in your respective division and you’ll vie for a wild card award, division title or the overall championship! We’ve brought the ballpark to the golf course, complete with peanuts, popcorn, pretzels, beer plus a traditional ball park tailgate awards lunch! You’ll be playing in a unique format that both skilled and not-so-skilled golfers can compete and enjoy equally. It’s called “1-2-3 yer out”. Everyone plays and scores on their own ball but not every score counts towards the TEAM score. Each team counts the ONE best net score on all par 5′s, the TWO best net scores on every par 4 and the THREE best net scores on every par 3. A portable leaderboard will circle the course to keep you aprised of your standing! Plus win a great prize on the spot if your drive clears our fences in our signature “Hole ‘n Run” contest! This event benefits the Unitarian Churh in Westport in their quest to purchase new carpeting for the church. $50 of each tournament fee is tax deductible and 100% of any on-line sponsorship. |
