The YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties and YMCA Camps of Medford offer outstanding summer camping programs for children. Both Y’s strive to make affordable and accessible to all. Together, our y’s will provide over $150,000 in camp scholarships to needy families in 2012. Additionally, our ys will subsidize almost $250,000 in costs fro camp programs targeted at special populations. Programs like Camp No Worries, a camp for children with cancer, and Camp Bright Feathers, for children infected with or affected by HIV/Aids, help our Ys reach an additional 300 children each year-children who othewise would never be able to go to camp. Together, we can give a unique summer camp experience to all kids in our area. We hope you will be a part of this special effort to send kids in our coummunity to Ycamp.

RBARI is honored to hold this years golf event in honor of Dr. Cheryl Welch. Cheryl passed away on February 23rd, 2011 after a valiant fight against cancer. Kelly at 35 years of age has been fighting cancer for over a year. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3a Invasive Duct Cell Carcinoma (Breast Cancer), which has spread between 4/7 lymph nodes!

Oncologist Dr Robert Fein, working with the Center For Hematology and Oncology, has been treating Kelly.

She has gone through chemotherapy treatments from September 2010 to December 2010 and has been subjected to over 30 radiation treatments since March 28 2011.

To reduce her chances of relapse and reduce risk of cancer spreading to different organs, she will be having a total hysterectomy, which is scheduled for August 2011. All surgeries and radiation treatments were performed at St Peters Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.

Along with family and friends, mom (Joan Kontowt), Sis (Denise Gentempo) and special friend Angelo LoGiudice have definitely been a HUGE part of her treatment and recovery.

About Oggie’s United _ Charity Golf Outings

A few years back, I began organizing golf outings to benefit a friend who was suffering from ALS. Since then, I have continued to organize very successful golf outings which raised substantial funds to help someone who was in need of financial assistance during a medical crisis.

The outing is unique, in that, we have multiple flights for male golfers, a flight for female golfers, and prizes galore for both male and female, and afterward fabulous awards meal! All of which allows golfers to have a great time, while supporting very worthy causes.

The organization became know as OUCh and besides golf outing we do Phillies Tailgate Extravaganza’s. They consist of about 300 to 500 people attending a catered tailgate with a DJ, a ticket to the ballgame, and plenty of fun! The Phillies in-turn gives back $2 to $5 per ticket and OUCh donates that to a needy organization or person!

Registration Fee: $185 per golfer or $675 for a foursome. Registration includes greens fees, golf cart, bag drop, barbeque lunch and awards ceremony with open bar, door prize drawings, on-course drinks, and golfer gift bag with a handmade WheatonArts glass piece and handcrafted trophies for the division winners. Other contest tickets will be available for purchase on Tournament Day.

WheatonArts, an internationally acclaimed arts and cultural center, has served the South Jersey region for 40 years by providing a unique teaching environment and innovative educational programs for visitors of all ages and backgrounds each year. The Navesink Hook & Ladder Company of the Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department hosting its annual Charity Golf Outing on Tuesday October 18, 2011.

While the event promises to be fun for everyone involved, true success is measured by the lives we are able to impact with the proceeds from the donations and sponsorships we receive from our supporting community.

With this in mind, we are asking if you would support this event. There are many ways to help:

• Donating prizes, individually wrapped snack foods (chips, granola bars, etc.) or bottled water

• Monetary donations to help fund gift bags and prizes

• Participating in the event, and

• Hole sponsorships (businesses that choose to sponsor a hole will have their business advertised at a hole determined by the organizer).

Please note that a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the Jason Fazio Fund. Fazio, acting Captain of the truck company, went into the building which contains 12 2nd floor apartments along with stores on the first floor. Fazio was in a room in that apartment, which flashed over from the heat and he dove out of the second story apartment to save himself, according to APFD Fire Chief Kevin Keddy Captain Fazio suffered several fractured bones secondary to his burns.

TheTPC Jasna Ploana event costs $500 to enter per two-person team ($250pp). This includes the golf, cart, lunch and tournament gifts. Participants will be competing for the chance to qualify for the Grand Finale which will be hosted by Ernie Els in Las Vegas on 23/24 October. Grand Finale prizes include luxury trips to South Africa, South America and England courtesy of Mantis and sets of Callaway golf clubs complete with bag and customized fitting.
There are three ways for a team competing in a Super Regional event to make it the final – be the low net winner, the highest fundraiser or raise $10,000 more and automatically qualify. Once teams sign up they are given a dedicated team webpage to personalize and send out to friends, co-workers etc…to ask them to sponsor their team. Essentially teams start competing the minute they sign up! Whilst fundraising is encouraged it is not a prerequisite of taking part. and the Omega Delta Upsilon Foundation are pleased to host its 11th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing
at the Mountain View Golf Course. This annual event serves as one of our major fundraisers to
support our scholarship and other community enhancement programs.
For over fifty years the members of Delta Upsilon Chapter and its Foundation have been involved in a
variety of community enrichment and scholarship initiatives. Among the most notable are our
efforts in support of the American Cancer Society Run For Dad’s Program, Habitat for Humanity,
Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), Home Front, a mentoring program with PJ Hill Middle School,
awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors from both Mercer and Bucks counties, and
partnering with the Malcolm Bernard Historically Black Colleges and Universities College Fair.
Our goal this year is to raise $25,000.00 to increase scholarship and enhance our community
outreach programs. To reach that goal, we will need five (5) corporate sponsors at the $5,000.00

The event helps raise awareness and funding in support of the more than 350,000 New Jersey Alzheimer’s disease individuals and families we serve.

The courses that are included as prizes are considered “the best of the best” because of their history, excellence of design, or quality of course conditions. Among the featured golf courses are Baltusrol Golf Club, Trump National Golf Club, Canoe Brook Country Club, Alpine Country Club, Hamilton Farm Golf Club, and Palm Beach and Pebble Beach resorts packages for two.

The prizes include a round of golf, golf carts or caddies, and lunch for the winner and two additional guests. Tickets are $100, and anyone over the age of 18 may buy or sell tickets.
