Charity Golf Tournaments and Golf Tournament Planning

Our inaugural tournament will be hosted by former NFL stars, KEN EASLEY, MACK STRONG, famed SF 49’er and Seahawk CHARLIE YOUNG and the legendary MEADOWLARK LEMON from the Harlem Globetrotters as well as over 20 other professional athletes.

The tournament fundraiser is in support of Greater Trinity Academy, an Early Childhood Learning Academy which has been serving the Everett community for the past 11 years. GTA is committed to providing a high quality, innovative, academic experience to children; stimulating a child’s enthusiasm for learning throughout their educational career and beyond. The majority of GTA’s kids are from underprivileged backgrounds who may not otherwise have the opportunity for such a dedicated educational pre-K experience. This opportunity often sets them well ahead of their peers when they are set to enter the public school system.

Not only is the positive and impactful results showing both on an individual level but also in the awareness of our program on both the state and national level. As exciting as that is, we still need to find creative ways to keep up the high standard of instruction and service to our children. So we are really excited to be hosting our first Celebrity Golf Tournament at Redmond Ridge on Sept. 20. to raise money for our school.

On July 30, 2011, we will be hosting the 9th annual “Cotton Classic Golf Tournament and Auction” at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course. I am asking you to also take a stand to fight senior hunger and isolation by becoming an underwriter for this event, sponsoring a team, or contributing auction items for this event. For your efforts you will be featured in the event program, have the opportunity to supply business cards next to your donation, flyers in golfers promotional bags, be on our website, endorsed in social media venues, and promoted during selected television appearances / radio announcements.

Your effort will be helping hundreds of frail elderly throughout the community. Together, we can change lives for the better. Together, we can continue to make a difference—to be there for the senior who is alone and hungry.

Players should be at the course for registration by 11:00.

Each player must check in, play begins at 12:00.

You may register as a group or individually.

Closest to the pin (male under and over 55)

Closest to the pin (female under and over 55)

A putting contest will be held prior to the start of the tournament
The cost per player is $75 or $300 per team

Raffle items and mulligan’s will also be available at check-in. Mulligan’s are priced at $1 to $3 and can aid your scoring.

Golf carts may be rented if desired

The Tesoro Incident Memorial Foundation

We are looking forward to seeing you on the course for our Inaugural Tesoro Memorial Golf Tournament.

The Tesoro Incident Memorial Foundation was organized to continue, through the youth in our communities, activities that were most important to our friends, family and co-workers who lost their lives as a result of the accident on April 2nd, 2010 at the Tesoro Anacortes Refinery.

Our group, consisting of family members, friends and co-workers is dedicated to providing activities and financial support to K-12th grade youth that reside in Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish and Island counties in Washington State so that they may participate in activities like school sports, summer camps and other programs that foster, leadership, values, individual achievement and education advancement.

We are booking for all three 9-hole courses at Avalon with a total 216 players (54 Teams)

Our annual golf tournament at the beautiful, exclusive Golf Club at Newcastle is always a fun event and oftten sells out! The registration fee includes a box lunch, golf cart, contest entry, gourmet dinner, and our popular cake auction. Come enjoy a great day of golf with your friends–all with a gorgeous view and for a great cause: all proceeds benefit the life-changing programs of Wonderland Developmental Center.
