Children’s Mental Health Network is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 2010. It is the purpose of CMHN to provide funding for community services for families of children with serious emotion disorders referred by Mental Health Professionals. It also funds educational programs in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) to schools, daycare facilities and law enforcement agencies. This training will give this network of professionals the confidence and skills needed to effectively and productively work with a child who struggles with the challenges associated with an emotional disorder. CMHN is also working to create a model for a “Community Crisis Team” to work in conjunction with local police in responding to a child in crisis. Please help to make this event a memorable and successful one. Hopefully, together with your support, we can make this an annual event that will bring the community together as well raise funds for this important organization every year. Your contribution/particapation means a lot. |

Our inaugural tournament will be hosted by former NFL stars, KEN EASLEY, MACK STRONG, famed SF 49’er and Seahawk CHARLIE YOUNG and the legendary MEADOWLARK LEMON from the Harlem Globetrotters as well as over 20 other professional athletes. The tournament fundraiser is in support of Greater Trinity Academy, an Early Childhood Learning Academy which has been serving the Everett community for the past 11 years. GTA is committed to providing a high quality, innovative, academic experience to children; stimulating a child’s enthusiasm for learning throughout their educational career and beyond. The majority of GTA’s kids are from underprivileged backgrounds who may not otherwise have the opportunity for such a dedicated educational pre-K experience. This opportunity often sets them well ahead of their peers when they are set to enter the public school system. Not only is the positive and impactful results showing both on an individual level but also in the awareness of our program on both the state and national level. As exciting as that is, we still need to find creative ways to keep up the high standard of instruction and service to our children. So we are really excited to be hosting our first Celebrity Golf Tournament at Redmond Ridge on Sept. 20. to raise money for our school. We hope that you can join us for this event. Register for a foursome, inquire about our many sponsorship opportunities or be a volunteer. For more information, please don’t hesitate to reach me. |

Grand Finale prizes include luxury trips to South Africa, South America and England courtesy of Mantis and sets of Callaway golf clubs complete with bag and customized fitting. There are three ways for a team competing in a Super Regional event to make it the final – be the low net winner, the highest fundraiser or raise $10,000 more and automatically qualify. Once teams sign up they are given a dedicated team webpage to personalize and send out to friends, co-workers etc…to ask them to sponsor their team. Essentially teams start competing the minute they sign up! Whilst fundraising is encouraged it is not a prerequisite of taking part. As a fun incentive, teams raising $2,500 or more will be automatically entered into the Fundraisers’ Prize Draw for a chance to win a 7-day ultimate IRISH LINKS golf tour to Ireland. Proceeds from the Golf Challenge will go towards creating the Els Center of Excellence that will reach out to help children on the autism spectrum across the U.S and internationally. | The Els for Autism Golf Challenge is the largest amateur, charity-driven, national tournament in U.S history. It comprises of 30 Super Regional events around the country from May through September with a Grand Finale in Las Vegas on October 23/24. One of those Super Regional events is being hosted at TPCJasna Polana on July 11, 2011.TheTPC Jasna Ploana event costs $500 to enter per two-person team ($250pp). This includes the golf, cart, lunch and tournament gifts. Participants will be competing for the chance to qualify for the Grand Finale which will be hosted by Ernie Els in Las Vegas on 23/24 October. Teams sign up online at www.e4aGolf.com |

| On September 9th Loews Lake Las Vegas will team up with DonorsChoose.org at the exclusive Golf Club at SouthShore for the hotel’s Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament.Founded in 2000, DonorsChoose.org is a nonprofit website where public school teachers post needs for funding for specific educational projects for their students, and donors can choose the projects they want to support. To date, 123,000 public and charter school teachers have used the site to secure funding for $49.5 million in books, art supplies, technology, and other resources that their students need to learn. Through www.DonorsChoose.org, individuals from all walks of life have helped 3.1 million students, the majority from low-income areas. The average teacher spends $2,000-$3,000 of his/her own money for classroom needs.
Currently in Nevada there are 305 projects that still need to be funded. To date, Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort has given resources to 12,460 students (roughly $4,000) through contributions on the site. Loews Hotels’ is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Good Neighbor Policy. The Good Neighbor Policy is the company’s formal commitment to our long-standing tradition of understanding our responsibility to the communities where we own and operate hotels. Loews Hotels addresses various issues of social concern and supports charities corporately, and each destination is required to conduct specific activities. Loews Lake Las Vegas Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised over $21,000 for a non-profit dedicated to Modest Needs. As the first hotel partner for DonorsChoose.org, the goal for Loews is to raise awareness of the charity by raising money within the communities in which we do business. Loews has partnered with Donors Choose in order to better serve the educational needs of Nevada students. The event kicks off at 12pm with an 18-hole, 4-person scramble golf tournament, followed by an awards barbeque and silent auction. Entry into the tournament is $150 per golfer or $650 per foursome, and is limited to the first 144 entrants. Each entry includes green and cart fees, lunch, dinner and gifts provided by Titleist as well as vacation giveaways from other Loews Hotel properties. Major sponsors include Touchstone, ValleyCrest, and SteriTech. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available ranging from hole sponsors and auction donors to the title sponsor. Founded in 2000, DonorsChoose.org is a nonprofit website where public school teachers describe specific educational projects for their students, and donors can choose the projects they want to support. After completing a project, the donor hears back from the classroom they supported in the form of photographs and student thank-you letters. |

Once teams sign up they are given a dedicated team webpage to personalize and send out to friends, co-workers etc…to ask them to sponsor their team. Essentially teams start competing the minute they sign up! Whilst fundraising is encouraged it is not a prerequisite of taking part. Disabled Veterans Need Your Help!
Disabled veterans scheduled to participating in a Charity Golf Tournament on September 10, 2010 need help getting there.
Please read the information below and if you or someone you know can help them please respond! Let’s stand up and show that we care.
Donations of Private Flight Time Urgently Needed to Help Four Disabled Vets
Through its ShairGive program, Shaircraft Solutions, a private aviation law and consulting firm, working with the U.S. Veterans Administration and the Professional Golf Association’s First Tee Program, is seeking donations of flight time on private aircraft to help four visually impaired disabled veterans participate in the National Veterans TEE (Training, Exposure and Experience) Golf Tournament in Riverside Iowa, September 6 – 9, 2010.
The four veterans in need—David Zang (Navy), Michael Smith (Army), Ronald Cody (Marines) and Joseph Taylor (Marines), combined, have served our country for over 36 years, from Vietnam through the Gulf War. Each has been selected to participate, along with 200 other veterans, in the Tee Tournament because they have excelled in completing the Blind Rehabilitation Training Program offered by the Veterans Administration.
These wounded warriors suffer substantial visual impairment as well as other debilitating conditions that include prostate and bladder cancer and melanoma, severe arthritis and the effects of a stroke. Yet, they have persevered and continue to work toward regaining a full and active lifestyle.
Unfortunately, commercial air travel from Florida to the Tee Tournament in Iowa City, Iowa involves time consuming and arduous connections that, due to their respective disabilities, make the trip impossible for these heroes. Shaircraft is asking the private aviation community to step up and donate a flight on September 6, 2010 from West Palm Beach, Florida to Iowa City, Iowa and a return flight on September 10, 2010.
“We are honored to have this opportunity to demonstrate, if only in a small way, the respect we have for these fine servicemen,” says CEO, James D. Butler.Shaircraft works pro bono with donors and charities to help facilitate charitable contributions of flight time on private aircraft.
Time is short. If you are able to help, please contact James D. Butler at (301) 652-9885 or jbutler@shaircraft.com.

| We are excited to announce the 7th Annual Meijer Charity Classic. We hope you will be able to join us August 31, 2010 at the beautiful Highlands Golf Club for a fun filled day of golf on this classic Donald Ross course, to raise funds for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.
Gilda’s Club is a national organization started in honor of the late Gilda Radner from Saturday Night Live, by her husband Gene Wilder, cancer therapist Joanne Bull and Joel Siegel. It was Gilda’s wish that anyone dealing with cancer would be able to receive the kind of support she found during her treatment. Today, there are over thirty Gilda’s Clubs and fifty thousand members nationwide that offer free supoort for men, women and children living with any kind of cancer, along with their families and friends. The 2010 Meijer Charity Classic Pro-Am will feature 21 professionals from the LPGA and Futures Tours. The Golf Charity Network’s Credit Card Processing Program helps organizers like yourself streamline your operation by providing credit card processing!
There is no fee to you and no money taken away from your charity. A small $5 service per entry is charged to the player when they sign up. All fees are then transferred to you each night along with all the relevant information you need for your registration! It’s just that simple.
You no longer need to worry about lost checks or cash!
Once your account is created your event listing will include a button that will allow all of your entrants to pay for their entry fee. Simply direct new registrants to your event listing and we’ll take care of the rest.
Getting started is simple. Either fill out the small form below or contact us immediately at 1-866-990-8155 or email contact@golfcharity.net for more information.

Play In a Charity Golf Event
5 Reasons to play in a charity golf event
1. Many Charity Events and non-profits registered with the government. Which makes your entry fee Tax Deductible! THAT MEANS FREE GOLF.
Update: We received credible information about how this works.
Legally you can only deduct the portion of the entrance fee which exceeds the normal cost of the round at that course. So, if you pay $100 to play in a charity event on a Monday, and that course usually charges $50 for a round of golf and $15 for the cart, you can only deduct the $35 difference. You can also deduct the cost of Mulligans and such, but not the cost of raffle tickets. Even then, it’s a tax deduction, not a tax credit.
2. You get peace of mind that you helped a needy cause and got to play golf.
3. One word COMPETITION.
4. Another word PRIZES.
5. Meet other golfers in your area and find a foursome!
To find a Charity Golf tournament in your area you can either search using the search box above or use the drop down box and browse by state.
If you know of an event that is not listed here, please send any info you might have to events@golfcharity.net

7. Submit your website to the Yahoo Directory. If you are a non-profit, this is free.
8. Visit local golf stores in the are and inquire about posting a flier inside or near the checkout area.
9. If you have a budget you should consider a small adwords budget. At an average of 10 cents a click it might be worth it.
10. If you are 501(c)3 Charity make sure to let everyone know that their entry fee is tax deductible.
11. Talk to other Charity Organizers and see if they want to create a JMP, Joint Marketing Program, this way the two or three or four of you can pool your resources and promote all of your events together!
