The Embrace Home Loans MetroBoston Fellowship of Christian Athletes Golf Open will be held Monday, July 30th at Granite Links Golf Club at Quarry Hills in Quincy, MA.

Granite Links was rated by Golf Digest as one of the “Top Ten Best New Upscale” golf facilities in the country and in 2009 / 2010 as one of the “Top 100 greatest golf courses” in the country. This is a great opportunity to play an excellent course while helping to raise funds for a great cause.

The tournament raises support for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes which exists “to present athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.” Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America and focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

The cost for this event is $250 per player. This price includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch and awards program, golf shirt, gift bag, and the opportunity to win great prizes. Registration begins at 6:30 am with continental breakfast provided; followed by a shotgun start at 7:30am.
