It’s hard to believe that 11 years ago the Los Angeles & Southern California Claims Team from Farmers Insurance founded this tournament. We are grateful for the ongoing support from Farmers Insurance and are pleased to announce that Farmers Insurance will again be the event’s Title Sponsor.

We are returning to Robinson Ranch in Santa Clarita and will utilize both 18-hole golf courses. As always, each course will host a variety of contests and activities. After golf, participants will have the opportunity to win great chance drawing prizes and auction items at our dinner and awards banquet.

Of course, events like this can’t happen without your generosity. We hope you will be able to join us Friday, October 22nd and invite you to consider the different ways you might offer your support. Your company can participate at various giving levels, with attractive benefits at each. Enclosed is a sponsorship form that explains the sponsorship levels in more detail.

If you are able to respond by August 15th, we will be able to give you recognition in the invitation that will be sent out at the end of August.

In addition to breakfast, lunch and a fine round of golf, the day will include a putting clinic with Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Roger Gunn, contests, raffles and more. Afterward, join us for a banquet dinner featuring awards, silent auction and great entertainment.

The Beautiful Day Foundation was founded by Daylani Santos Röllich, a young woman from the South Bay, who battled breast cancer and envisioned a way to educate other young women about the challenges of the cancer and ways to live today, each day, every day as a “Beautiful Day”. This golf tournament is chosen to be held every October in honor of her and the organization that carries on her legacy. Proceeds for this “touch of pink on the green” golf tournament benefits the Beautiful Day Foundation’s ongoing education programs aimed at raising awareness of breast cancer, ways to detect and prevent this cancer among young women, in addition to the organization’s several community outreach events.

We are proud to present the 2010 Birdies Fore Babies Golf Classic on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Sierra La Verne Country Club. This special event will tee off at 11:00am with lots of fun, networking, games, prizes, and all for a wonderful cause.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Horizons Foundation has served the LGBT community for 30 years by making grants, strengthening LGBT organizations and leadership, and increasing philanthropic giving.

On November 11, 2010, the Beyond the Bell Branch of the Los Angeles Unified School District will be hosting its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser at the beautiful Angeles National Golf Club located in Sunland, California. Your support as a co-sponsor, donor or player can make a dramatic difference in the sustainability of music and arts programs and the lives of children in Los Angeles.

We are seeking gifts that can be used in our silent auction or as a raffle or grand prize. Beyond the Bell is a 501(c)(3) entity. The prize(s) that you donate will directly benefit the children of the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Beyond the Bell after school music and arts education programs.
