Golfing for the children, this August, 16th, Kids Konnected will host their 6th annual Golf Tournament at the Bella Collina Golf Course

The southern California based charity that has been providing assistance and support to children who have a parent with cancer or who have lost a parent to cancer since 1993, will host its 6th annual Kids Konnected Golf Tournament on August 16th, 2010 at the Bella Collina Towne & Golf Club in San Clemente, California. Kids Konnected will host a breakfast prior to the tournament and later celebrate with a cocktail hour and awards ceremony.

Thanks to generous sponsors like Yard House, Carl Warren & Co, and Alliant Insurance Services, tournament participants will have the opportunity to win prizes such as Angel’s tickets, a two night stay in Catalina, a golf swing analysis by Golfsmith, and a brand new TaylorMade TP Wedge. “This organization is passionately committed to providing support to those children and families who have been affected by a parent with cancer,” says Shawn Kraatz, Board Chairman of Kids Konnected. “We deeply appreciate the generous support of our sponsors and participants, it is with their support, that can we can continue to hold such momentous events and raise money for the programs that have become so important to these children and teens.”

The Beautiful Day Foundation was founded by Daylani Santos Röllich, a young woman from the South Bay, who battled breast cancer and envisioned a way to educate other young women about the challenges of the cancer and ways to live today, each day, every day as a “Beautiful Day”.
