1. Must include a silent and live auction after golf…this can add between $20,000 and $150,000 to an event’s bottom line. Golf attracts an upscale audience and they are a captive audience after golf. Preferably all auction items are donated…no consignment.

2. Need to recruit golf and auction committee members from the corporate community to expand networking to attract corporate sponsors (vs. Individual golfers) and auction items.

3. Try to secure a lead sponsor for the event (Title or Presenting Sponsor. If you are fortunate enough to secure a lead sponsor get them on your committee and that can help expand your network for additional sponsors.

4. Add an Honoree at the event who has supported the charity in the past. Goal here is to tap into that person’s network
