For over one hundred and five years Big Brothers Big Sisters has helped children reach their potential through professionally supported, one to one relationships with measurable impact. Research shows that children with a Big Brother or Big Sister are 52% less likely to skip school, 46% less likely to use drugs, 33% less likely to hit someone, and 27% less likely to use alcohol. As we consider all we have to be thankful for during these challenging economic times, we are reminded that Much of our successes in our adult life have to do with the contributions of time and affection we received during our formative years.
