Started in 2008, the VPH Charity Scramble is a golf event that is held in the Reading, PA, area annually. All money raised benefits the Children’s Home of Reading – http://www.childrenshomeofrdg.org/. Entry fees: $400 per foursome (by May 13) $100 per player Shotgun start at 1:30pm Non-golfer fee: $20 – includes donation, food, and beverages PLEASE NOTE: Payment must be received to confirm participation for both golfers and non-golfers. Sorry we cannot accept walk-ups. The final deadline to participate is Friday May 13th. All proceeds benefit The Children’s Home of Reading Entry Fee Includes: Greens Fees, Prizes, Beer & BBQ in “The Grove” immediately following the event. Wonderland Developmental Center is a nonprofit agency helping children with developmental delays and disabilities, and their families. Since 1969, we’ve been working with families from north King and south Snohomish counties. Our occupational and speech therapists, special educator, counselor, and family resource coordinators work with children and their parents in the home, daycare, or other community setting. Our annual golf tournament at the beautiful, exclusive Golf Club at Newcastle is always a fun event and oftten sells out! The registration fee includes a box lunch, golf cart, contest entry, gourmet dinner, and our popular cake auction. Come enjoy a great day of golf with your friends–all with a gorgeous view and for a great cause: all proceeds benefit the life-changing programs of Wonderland Developmental Center.
