Valet bag drop-off and registration open at 10:30 am. After check-in, take a few practice swings on the driving range, and then enjoy a hearty lunch overlooking the course. Tee-off is at noon with a shotgun start, and then you are off to a relaxing day complete with 18 holes of fun, meaningful, and memorable golf. The Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic features a Hole in One contest, as well as prizes for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. All registrants will receive a special gift at check-in, with a trophy presented to the top performing team at the conclusion of the day’s activities. This event is complete with a cocktail reception, delicious dinner, auction, and awards ceremony immediately following the tournament.

Proceeds will support a.) Breast cancer research and community-based breast health and educational programs through the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. b.) The District Heights Golf Academy, which provides underprivileged and at-risk youth and senior citizens the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf.

All levels of golfers are welcomed! Depending on your level, you may choose to participate in the golf clinic or play in tournament. All play will be in foursomes, so we strongly encourage you to register along with friends, family and coworkers. If not, you will be included in groups of four.

The tournament will offer great gifts, prizes, contests, a banquet lunch, an auction and an opportunity for networking. This event will be photographed and videotaped for our website and District Heights Cable Station. In addition, Renditions Golf Course is one of the most renowned golf courses in the world, featuring replica holes from courses that have hosted some of golf’s major championships, such as “Amen Corner.” It’s the one place to find eighteen of the most famous major championship holes in golf.

At Michael’s House, we identify destitute elderly who have no families or means of support and we are

committed to providing them respite from their pain, fear, and hunger in the time that remains in their lives.

Among the services we provide are:

• Shelter

• Meals and nutritional support

• Community center with hygiene facilities

• Basic medical care and support for surgeries

• Financial assistance including pensions

• Transportation

• Dignified burials

We are a totally volunteer organization, which allows us to direct 98% of our contributions to the aged poor.

The golf tournament takes place at the Wetlands Golf Course and the registration fee is $95 per golfer. Registration begins at 7am and tee time 8am.

Joey left us too early, and our mission is to help others like him and like us who either battle the disease or love someone who does. Please join us at Fairway Hills Golf Club in Columbia, Maryland for this 2nd annual event.

One of our sober houses is named in Joey’s honor.

The event will include a 4-person best ball, box lunch and loads of fun with your fellow “Acers”. This invitational is for those who have had a “certified and witnessed” hole in one anywhere in the U.S. @ anytime – tell a friend that is in your exclusive club. From tee to cup…that’s what we do! Day of Golf Registration Deadline: Until filled/first come basis.

Second day, Oct. 1st/Saturday, beginning @ noon a “Winner’s Luncheon” for all our sponsors/advertisers and winners (no extra cost) @ The Village of Cross Keys Club House. Non-winners (and others) interested in attending there w/b an additional cost of $15.00. Luncheon Registration Deadline: August 11th.

The format is a four-person scramble and no handicaps required. On-course contests include longest drive (male & female), closest-to-the-pin (male & female) and Holes-in-One on every par 3 hole including a $10,000 cash prize. Registration includes green fees, cart, range balls, all you can eat breakfast and lunch, unlimited on-course alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tournament gift & goodie bag, awards and on-course contests.
