Tobago Junior Golf Academy is a non- profit organization base on the beautiful island of Tobago our organization provides golf scholarship for dis-advantage junior golfers in Tobago. This tournament will help send our juniors golfers to attend Core Golf Junior Academy summer program in Orlando, Florida for the 2012 summer period. Out of that program we are hoping our junior golfers will get the opportunity to receive golf scholarships. At present one of our top junior golfers is at Core Golf for one year, and for the next five years we are hoping to send out two of our best golfers to get exposure and to showcase their talent so that the college coaches can see the talent we have in Tobago. |

Our inaugural tournament will be hosted by former NFL stars, KEN EASLEY, MACK STRONG, famed SF 49’er and Seahawk CHARLIE YOUNG and the legendary MEADOWLARK LEMON from the Harlem Globetrotters as well as over 20 other professional athletes. The tournament fundraiser is in support of Greater Trinity Academy, an Early Childhood Learning Academy which has been serving the Everett community for the past 11 years. GTA is committed to providing a high quality, innovative, academic experience to children; stimulating a child’s enthusiasm for learning throughout their educational career and beyond. The majority of GTA’s kids are from underprivileged backgrounds who may not otherwise have the opportunity for such a dedicated educational pre-K experience. This opportunity often sets them well ahead of their peers when they are set to enter the public school system. Not only is the positive and impactful results showing both on an individual level but also in the awareness of our program on both the state and national level. As exciting as that is, we still need to find creative ways to keep up the high standard of instruction and service to our children. So we are really excited to be hosting our first Celebrity Golf Tournament at Redmond Ridge on Sept. 20. to raise money for our school. We hope that you can join us for this event. Register for a foursome, inquire about our many sponsorship opportunities or be a volunteer. For more information, please don’t hesitate to reach me. |

Every year, Stone Design hosts a golf outing to both honor George Lockerbie’s (Founder of Stone Design) memory and raise money for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago to combat the horrible disease known as liver cancer. Everyone that attends gets a prize. I understand that because it’s on a Tuesday, it can be difficult to get out of work. That being said, please consider sponsoring a hole. We welcome any donation, though, so please don’t feel locked in, or like you cannot send a donation because it does not fall neatly into our sponsorship. I really hope to see you there! This truly is an exciting, fun filled day! |

| This is out 5th annual tournament and a very special fundraiser for our foundation to continue moving forward with the work and programs we offer.
We reach out to children and teens who are abused, neglected and At-Risk as well as children dealing with severe illness such as cancer and cystic fibroysis! We have 10 programs in which we help families with financial needs and funds for a child who has to travel to received cancer treatments as well as Family Fun Packs, Funds for Research, “Keepsake Treasures Portraits” for families who would like a family portrait and have no time for taking care of a sick child….We Make That Precious Moment and Memory Happen! All funds go into the programs and we keep our administrative costs very low….Our goal is to reach hurting children and other organizations that help hurting and sick children… We offer free concerts, magic shows, we are advocates and travel and speak about the effects substance abuse and violence has on the children in the home, how childhood cancer effects families and speak in prisons and to At-Risk teens about making better choices and creating new relationships that have been broken… We have BUILDING WISH to open and fund “Adam’s Center for Kids!’ Helping underprivileged and abused children and teens find their hidden talents in the ART of Music, Drama, Dance, Etc. We are totally focused on kids in SC and anywhere we can reach a child in need.. Your help would be so appreciated…we have so many broken kids from broken homes and so many broken hearts of families with a sick child. Joyce Glenn (JG) Wagster is a vocalist who uses her music and her life story to impact our state about these social issues and the trauma a family goes through with a sick child… Please play in our tournament and share with others…it would be incredible to have 37 teams this year and then we can make a huge difference in our future….our kids! |

There are three ways for a team competing in a Super Regional event to make it the final – be the low net winner, the highest fundraiser or raise $10,000 more and automatically qualify. Once teams sign up they are given a dedicated team webpage to personalize and send out to friends, co-workers etc…to ask them to sponsor their team. Essentially teams start competing the minute they sign up! Whilst fundraising is encouraged it is not a prerequisite of taking part. As a fun incentive, teams raising $2,500 or more will be automatically entered into the Fundraisers’ Prize Draw for a chance to win a 7-day ultimate IRISH LINKS golf tour to Ireland. Proceeds from the Golf Challenge will go towards creating the Els Center of Excellence that will reach out to help children on the autism spectrum across the U.S and internationally. | I wanted to make sure you knew that our (new and improved) Golf Tournament for Scholarships will still take place on Tuesday July 12 at the Refuge. A beautiful course, delicious food, five hole-in-one prizes of at least $10,000 value each, and a great cause.
We are looking for golfers, teams, sponsors (tee signs, teams, and tournament-level), and donors of gifts for prizes to help us make this 20th tournament the most successful one ever. We truly can use your help and participation in a few key ways. I’ll be brief and bulleted: -Golfers: Teams, individuals, you, your company, people and vendors you know… -Sponsorships: From teams to tee signs to the tournament level, these sponsorships are critical to helping our students. -Donations: Part of the draw (and the fun) of a tournament are the prizes and games. If you or your company are able to donate items for prizes, the raffle, or 144 of an item for the golfers’ bags, we would be so grateful. I’ve attached the brochure for more information. Please let me know if I may answer any questions. Please spread the word! Many thanks |

| Big Fish Little Fish Montessori is an established school in Tableview, Cape Town. We have been in operation for 5 years and currently service 47 families in our community. Montessori is generally a rather costly method of teaching, and our mission is to offer this exceptional learning medium to the average income earning families in our community. We derive our income from exceptionally reasonable fees and fundraising efforts throughout the year. We also assist families in our community by subsidizing school fees were we can.
We will be hosting our 2nd Annual Charity Golf Day for Big Fish Little Fish Montessori, the proceeds of which will be used to build new playground equipment for the children at our school. Big Fish Little Fish Montessori will also donate a portion of it’s proceeds to a children’s charity (Elundini Centre for Disabled Children in Dunoon). We are still needing to fill our field of players, please forward this invite to anyone you think may enjoy a game of golf and have some fun. We have secured some lovely prizes already and Gershawn Coetzee from ETV Prime Sports and UEFA Champions League will be our guest speaker at the prize giving. Contact: +27 21 556-3453 We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Michelle Vamvadelis |

| We are excited to announce the 7th Annual Meijer Charity Classic. We hope you will be able to join us August 31, 2010 at the beautiful Highlands Golf Club for a fun filled day of golf on this classic Donald Ross course, to raise funds for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.
Gilda’s Club is a national organization started in honor of the late Gilda Radner from Saturday Night Live, by her husband Gene Wilder, cancer therapist Joanne Bull and Joel Siegel. It was Gilda’s wish that anyone dealing with cancer would be able to receive the kind of support she found during her treatment. Today, there are over thirty Gilda’s Clubs and fifty thousand members nationwide that offer free supoort for men, women and children living with any kind of cancer, along with their families and friends. The 2010 Meijer Charity Classic Pro-Am will feature 21 professionals from the LPGA and Futures Tours. This event has been supported by past participants such as Nancy Lopez, Beth Daniel, Angela Sanford, Katherine Hull, Christina Kim and a local hero, Allison Fouch, to mention a few. Our goal is simple….to raise money for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids through the Meijer Charity Classic Pro-Am, and ultimately, to raise money for all the local cancer related charities through an LPGA Tour stop at the Highlands Golf Club of Grand Rapids. | Group for the East End is honored to hold its first golf fundraising event at Sebonack Golf Club on October 19, 2010. Situated on 300 picturesque acres on Peconic Bay in Southampton, Sebonack is one of just a few world class golf courses built and maintained with environmentally sustainable practices. Sebonack appears to have fashioned itself from the wild terrain. In fact, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Doak designed the course to look as though it were manicured by time.
Join us for an exceptional day. We will begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m., shotgun start at 9:30 a.m., 18 holes of golf, barbecue lunch, and awards on the club house veranda. Our tournament is limited to 72 players, so please reserve your tickets today. For more information on Sebonack Golf Club, please visit www.sebonack.com. Since 1972, Group for the East End has protected and restored the environment of eastern Long Island through education, citizen action and professional advocacy. Acting as an environmental watchdog for the region, the Group inspires people to embrace a conservation ethic. To learn more about Group for the East End, please visit www.eastendenvironment.org. |
