| Anthony Nolan will once again be holding it’s annual Golf Classic on the world famous Old Course at Sunningdale Golf Club. This prestigious golf event is an important way of raising much needed funds to support the lifesaving work of Anthony Nolan.
Sunningdale’s Old Course was laid out by Willie Park Jnr. He was appointed by the original committee of the Club to build the course in 1900 with the course opening for play in 1901. It retains a high ranking in courses around the world as a fine example of a heathland course. The experience of the Old Course is fantastic from start to finish. The beautiful heathland setting, together with some demanding elevations and no real weak holes provides some of the best golf in the region. | Golf for Brains! Golf for Pep! Golf for mental illness research! Golf because you care!
19th Annual Michigan NARSAD Golf Classic raises donations for the Brain & Behavior Research Fund. This year, we golf in memory of Peppino Puleo, founder of NARSAD’s longest running fundraiser in the country! Pep’s love for family, drove him to raise funds that will lead to better treatments and cures for millions who suffer from serious mental illness. NARSAD researchers are discovering new things about the brain & behavior disorders, including schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, autism, epilepsy, suicide prevention, PTSD, anxiety and stress, panic disorder, phobias, ADHD, Alzheimer’s, Fragile X, Parkinson’s, SAD, drug abuse, insomnia. etc. See videos at http://www.narsad.org/?q=node/11143/multimedia. NARSAD gets consistently high marks for its charitable standards. We receive no government funding. All of our work relies on contributions from families, foundations and other caring donors. | Since 1921, Nationalities Service Center has worked to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees by helping them become socially and economically self-sufficient and engaged members of our community. NSC helps refugees and immigrants become independent, contributing members of American society through English classes, legal help, health care and social services, and job placement for newly arrived refugees. We are often the last resort for those looking to escape violence and repression and those who need help to overcome severe trauma from their past. We serve over 4000 immigrants and refugees each year, a very diverse client population from over 90 countries.
NSC’s work reunites families and re-energizes neighborhoods. Our clients are helping to keep Philadelphia and the region strong and vibrant. They are the new Philadelphians. Your participation in our We Are Philadelphia! golf outing will help us continue providing much needed services to refugees and immigrants. We have a fun-filled day planned at White Manor Country Club, whose renovated course was designed by the renowned Bobby Weed. | The UJGA will host it’s second annual fundraising tournament on August 31, 2011 at The Ranch Club at Promontory. The format will be a 4 person scramble with a luncheon afterwards to present awards. There will also be a silent auction and raffle. The UJGA is seeking corporate team participation for this event. The entry fee per team is $600 and the team will consist of 4 players. We are also seeking hole sponsorships, silent auction and raffle donations for the event. If you have an interest in supporting this event you may contact Becky at ponichfamily@msn.com
The Utah Junior Golf Association is dedicated to provide competitive opportunities for boys and girls in all age groups, to provide an environment conducive to improvement, to encourage excellence, and to promote friendship, sportsmanship and citizenship through the game of golf. The Utah Junior Golf Association’s PRO (Provide Relief Opportunities) Grant program provides top tournament opportunities to young men and women regardless of financial resources. The UJGA believes the opportunity to enjoy tournament golf should not be limited to those who can afford to travel and play a statewide junior golf schedule. Therefore, the UJGA would like to offer financial assistance to those juniors who can compete at the state junior golf level, but are limited due to financial constraints. Funds that are raised through this annual event are also used for golf course use fees not covered by tournament registration fees, individual touranament and year end awards, national tournament entry and travel fees, team uniforms and tournament supplies for the boys and girls enrolled in the UJGA program. We have many boys/girls that qualify for national tournament events but simply cannot afford to participate. UJGA through fundraising events helps to offset these costs so that they can participate and represent Utah at these events. Utah Junior Golf Association is the future of Utah Golf. The UJGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to experience the game of golf through competitive tournament play. Your support is very much appreciated. |

| 6/09/2010- The Hope for Haiti’s Children Charity Golf Tournament
This event is organized by TOUCHING LIVES WORLDWIDE, INC for the sole purpose of raising funds for two new orphanages for homeless children in Haiti. Since the earthquake in January, Haiti’s situation is unbelievably worse than ever. There are thousands of small children deprived of food, shelter, affection, protection, and education. With the poverty and the results from the earthquake, the children are locked into a “silent prison” that has no walls but is without options and without hope. It doesn’t have to be that way for many if you extend a helping hand through your participation and/or support in this golfing event. You will be helping these children and helping yourself at the same time. (Benefits to you: tax deductible, golf & cart fees, meals &drinks, prizes galore, and a chance to win a new car or a deluxe cruise for two) For more information, please go to our website: touchinglivesworldwide.org. You will love this tournament; and, you will be helping t o make a real difference in a child’s life. |
